East Alabama Motor Speedway 2025
East Alabama Motor Speedway, a 3/8 mile very high-banked clay oval, has been in operation since 1973 and is still viewed by many as one of the best dirt track facilities in the South. Originally scheduled for March 15th, the race was postponed due to weather.
An afternoon rain storm created a wet track and lots of mud. Those seeking to pass were heavily mudded, making for poor/no visibility. Towards the end of the feature race Morgan could only see taillights of the #51 truck ahead of him! The very high banks of this dirt track made for a fast track that was surprisingly safe, even without an outside wall (except in front of the stands).

Whitmire in #51 and Kikelhan in #01 fought for the lead most laps. Morgan's #88 repeatedlly threatened #01 but couldn't make the pass.

The #01 truck lead most laps but was passed occasionally and finally by the #46. In lap 17 the #16 truck died causing a caution and being pushed off track by the tow truck. Morgan's #88, Mackvader, came in 3rd and covered in mud. Nicholas Black in the #46 took 1st place and Luke Whitmire in the #51 took 2nd. Congratulations to all drivers!
