Dirt Oval at Route 66
The Dirt Oval at Route 66 Raceway is a 3/8th mile dirt oval track in Joliet, IL about an hour outside of Chicago. No transponders at this track, but they do have timing lights. No way to watch it either if you're not there. Major thanks to Wendy Morgan for passing along information almost as it happens. She's also works as Mike's spotter and so much more.

Heat Race 1 (10 laps)

The #16? slid out of turn 4 kicking up lots of dust causing #88 to almost wreck. The #66 slid out of turn 4 hitting the inside wall resulting in a right front flat. With no caution, he kept going and in the next lap a back left tire flew off. The #66 was towed from the track.

Tire on the track on Lap 5 in turn 2 brought out caution; #9 off track.
The #01 truck driven by Landon Arnold (behind #88) had a hard hit on the outside wall coming out of turn 2, requiring a tow off the track and a caution.
And the winner is Austin Hoppe in #66, second goes to Michael Caesar in #16, and third place belongs to Mike Morgan in #88.
